Generate barcodes
Closerware's system can generate barcode labels for membership IDs, name badges, and sign-in sheets.  When scanned, each barcode will communicate a member specific identifier that can track attendance to events and facilities.

Automated requirement fulfillment
A member's attendance to an event may be configured to partially or fully fulfill a membership requirement.

Volunteer roll call
*VolunteerMatters can track volunteer arrivals and departures to accurately track the events that they worked or volunteered. Periodic reports can be run to quickly and easily provide management with detailed reports on volunteer attendance.

Attendance reports
As most organizations are quite event-centric, this most-valuable module tracks participation in your activities and usage of your facilities. If, for example, one would like to evaluate meeting attendance, our systems can easily generate reports that analyze attendance by status, committee, age, zip code, and more.

Integration with wireless scanning devices
*VolunteerMatters works with Symbol Technologies PPT8846 Industrial portable scanning device.  The unit includes a built-in scanner, and wireless network connectivity.  The device requires access to the Internet either via a wireless network connection or via an optional Ethernet cradle.  The device does not require a PC and can communicate directly with Closerware’s services over the Internet.

The units can capture data in remote locations and store attendance records until it can obtain wireless or Ethernet access to the Internet.  In other words, you may utilize the scanning devices in remote locations and synchronize the units once you return to your organization’s offices where either wireless Internet connectivity is available or your Ethernet cradles are housed.
